Everything I have ordered from Rancho has not disappointed. I can vouch for the nachos, fajitas, and enchiladas being delicious. Also, they know how to make a great margarita. The staff is friendly. I go to the Olive Dr./Coffee Rd location and have always had great service there. It is small, so it can feel busy when they start to get crowded but they do have a small patio with seating.
Great food, and good service! I love the margaritas and starters of chips and salsa. I had Cauldo de Rez and my husband had chicken enchiladas! Very good!
Ate shrimp enchilada for lunch yesterday, I was given chips & greenish salsa, (forgot to ask what makes the salsa greenish) which is good. Enjoyed the chips and greenish salsa while waiting for the shrimp enchilada. After ten minutes the hot shrimp enchilada came. Enchilada is covered with white salsa and cheese, with refried beans and Mexican fried rice and a scoop of white cream on top of shredded Napa cabbage. It taste delish and just the right amount of cheese, not overwhelming. I enjoyed the enchilada, "thank you Chef" . Since I came after lunch, it wasn't that crowded but the ambiance is good, the service staff are super attentive to go on rounds every 20 minutes to ask "how is the food" . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Came in here for dinner on Friday night, this is definitely a hot spot for fun . It was really busy but it didn't matter we still received the best customer service from Steph . I ordered an enchilada with a side salad , it was so good !
Rancho Grande has become one of my all time favorite sit down Mexican restaurants in town! This location has lots of seating and is a great place to relax after a long day. We like to start out with a large order of guacamole. I love how warm the chips are and how spicy the salsa is. My personal favorite item on the menu is the ground beef crispy tacos. It's so flavorful and is a good size! I truly believe this is the best crispy taco in town! Another favorite are the shrimp flautas. They are so delicious and the shrimp are perfectly charred each time. The service is always excellent. They are quick and attentive. In the near future I'm interested in trying something from their bar. This is a great place for family and friends to gather and I look forward to returning.
Rancho Grande has become one of our new favorite spots in town for Mexican food! The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is always fantastic as well. This time we ordered the Carne Asada Entree and made the enchilada have white sauce and it was delicious. We also ordered the crispy shredded chicken taco meal and that was delicious. Their homemade fresh guacamole appetizer is also a favorite! They have bar seating as well as regular restaurant seating and there are TV's in the bar room which is nice. Overall recommend and we will be back!
Been here a few times and it was never a place I'd go on my own as the food or service was hot or miss. Once again invited by friends and this time it was nearly perfect. Service was impeccable with politeness and hustle. Food was better than the last few times I'd been here but still not perfect. My wife ordered a garlic shrimp dish and I ordered the chile verde enchiladas. My wife absolutely loved her mean except the rice was lacking a little something which I can confirm as my Chile verde enchiladas were terrific, however the rice and beans were a little bland. I would definitely come back again but on my own this time to see if Rancho Grande can stay consistent. Merry Christmas to their staff and keep improving.
Food is delicious, service was great, place is a nice set , drinks not that great. I order a strawberry Daquan an it tasted that great. However the food was delicious. Place is busy , lines out the door . If your wanting stop by during happy hour , get there early or have a friend snag a table.
Price is comparable to every other place around the Rosedale area. I would put this place as a top spot for food and drinks, when it comes to Mexican food restaurants. Salsa is fairly good but the chip quality is poor. My chips and salsa comparison is based on a scale set by Chile's, which has some of the best quality chips for salsa. Food quality was good. I would say for the fish I ordered it was fairly fishy but the shrimp was way better. Veggies and the sides were pretty decent as well. The wife loved her flautas and the overall portions were larger than most. Drinks were tasty. Between the two of us, we had Mango, Watermelon and Cadillac margaritas. Overall quality was good and they were over ice with salt. Te bill itself was reasonable with the drinks included. Cleanliness of the restaurant was great and the design and decor was very bright and inviting. The outside seating looks nice as well but when it's a typical hot day in town,l it doesn't come off as appealing. Service was good and very attentive, which I also believe is due to the tightness in the bar, where we were seated. Not saying they didn't do a good job but it is easier in this restaurant due to the size of the facility. Based off of everything I have it a 4 star rating. Wish they would allow half stars, so I could give it a 4.5. All in all, this place is a great addition to the area. Note: Less fry time on the chips or get different chips.
